Best Sport Cat downpipe?

Hey guys I was wondering what's the real difference between the ER, Fabspeed, and FI 200 cel downpipes? With ER being the cheapest and Fabspeed being the most expensive FI is in the middle and wanted to know what makes one better than the other? And is it worth the extra money?

Our most popular option is Wagner. High quality downpipe with high quality cats

Fabspeed is another best seller for us as well. They use very high quality cats (HJS)

Mike, I see the following offerings on your website:

AFE catted: 3.5" reducing to 3"
ER catted: 4" reducing to 3"
Fabspeed catted: ???
FI: 3" or 4" available
Remus: ???
Wagner: 3" or 4" available

I assume each of the 6 (although some don't have the exit sizing listed) will taper to 3" at the exhaust side to match the OEM exhaust.

What are your, and everyone's opinions on diameter piping?

This is my second consideration after pricing...

Cars with production date up to 08/13 have a flange size of 3.5"
Cars with prod date after 08/13 have a flange size of 4.0"

downpipe flange size have to match OE or else it will not fit
All companies offer both versions

In this case, all DPs produced for M2s are 4" tapering to 3".

That makes things much simpler. Thanks!

This ties back to the OP. Essentially, these downpipes are all similarly designed and the only difference is price and cat brand/type. Sounds like you can't go wrong with any!
