So if I buy the exhaust from a reseller or fabspeed.com there won't be any fitment issues?

Anyone in SoCal who has both catted do and exhaust installed? Would love to get a ride if one got parts installed. Curious how bad the drones are in highway.

Trying to sort out parts for mine coming in November!! Never thought waiting can be so painful.

@fabspeed could you PM price for package as dp and exhaust combined and just dp please? Also lead time would be helpful.

In regards to the exhaust - what part of the exhaust system are you looking to do? A catback section is going to sound different and yield different results in regards to sound compared to say our Muffler Bypass Exhaust.

So I'm installing mine right now..
Slides over on piping fairly easy nothing a mallet won't take care of. Everything going smooth. Put it up. No problems. Was sitting to far in.. so hammer the holding bars a little bit, and got it to where I like it. And if I pushed the exhaust out a little it would be touching the valance. So had to bend the brackets.
But I'm putting the tips on right? They will not tighten for nothing. I snapped one bolt already. I got it as tight as I could it would go.. took my hands and pulled the tip off. I'm thinking to just tig em up in a few spots if another stronger bolt won't work.
Not bad installation, just have to make it work and stuff.

So far not to happy on the extra work to make it work. But who knows maybe once I hear how it sounds I'll change my mind.

*finished installation. Grabbed longer bolts. Tightened it up.. and good as new. Ya you have to beat it around a bit, but for the price. Can't go wrong.

I'm glad to hear you worked it out. Sometimes these things take a little finessing to get them perfect. You should definitely post some videos of it as well!

Much appreciated, we aim to please! Let us know how we can continue to craft new components for the M2 community. Altering the downpipes definitely encourages more burbles and crackles, and the Muffler Bypass + Sport Cat combo is a very daily driveable setup.

It could not, we tried to make it work but the exhaust is different. There are some dimensional changes as you expand beyond the Y portion for proper fitment considering width of the tip outlets and how they sit in the bumper. This is similar to how we offer two variants for the M235i - those with the standard bumper and also the M Performance bumper.

We (and the M2 community!) owe you many thanks for helping to make this all possible!

How much for the black tips? Do you ship overseas?
