I can't wait to be one of the first LCI drivers on the road.

BMW genius says it is a MY18, though. We're just now coming off week 26, and Monday/today is W27. |

That's what I got too. I'll bet they were shut down for the holiday. The only thing that was working was my CA's computer, and it looks like I'm still on schedule for the July 7 build.

Same here. Week 35 production with Exec Package that includes adaptive LED headlights, auto high beams, wireless charging, WiFi Hotspot, heated steering wheel and a few other "driver aides" that I need to figure out how to shut off.

MY18 delivery
I have gotten my Vin and the car shows in production, however, I just received a message from the performance center that stated that the following:
"Unfortunately this model is still awaiting EPA/CARB approvals from the government, as it is a new model year. The vehicles are currently on hold and will not ship to us or any BMW Center until BMW receives those approvals. For that reason, we do not know when we can expect to receive the vehicle." I looked and it appears that the MY17 M2's didn't receive their certification until 2 Aug 16, so i'm not very hopeful for delivery in August. ...C'est la vie |

Anyone else think it's funny that the USA website still hasn't updated the configurator or anything else with details for the 2018s?

It was actually end of July last year when the website was updated for 2017 MY. Expect it to show up within the next week. My guess is this coming Monday.
