PCD and clear bra/wrap in the area
I'm doing PCD soon and with all the soft paint reports looking to get a clear bra or more close to the performance center before driving 1100 miles. I found this place but wondering if any others have opinions or have used them: https://www.ecolorsautopaint.com/
(I searched as best as I could and didn't find much) Thanks in advance... |

Try Extreme Colors Auto Spa / Clear Bra Greenville. PCD uses them for all their cars.

+1. Extreme Colors is the place to use. They did my M2 - great job! Highly recommend.

Coralcaves, Congratulations on the Performance Center Delivery of your new BMW. Extreme Colors is a very reputable and highly recommended shop for the Greenville area. For optimal protection for a vehicle like your new M, these areas include the full hood, front fenders, front bumper, side mirrors, and headlights. Many owners will also choose to protect the rocker panels and behind the rear wheels as those can get beat up from the sticky tires throwing up debris. If you have any more questions about installers or questions about the product feel free to reach out and let us know and we will be glad to answer them. |

Xpel PCD
I'm in the same boat. I have an m2 coming late November/ Early December and debating PCD.
However, I noticed Extreme Colors does a few things differently than I have seen prior. For example, in their m4 videos, they only wrap the edges on the side of the hood around 1/4 of the way up. And they don't wrap the edge at the top of the hood, he says he "shaves it in the back." Xpel- can you explain why it would be done this way? My local installer wraps the edges all the way up both sides of the hood and at the top of hood. I may just buy some Tracwrap Xpel and do it myself. |

Extreme Colors did my car and probably about 10 more I know of.
Everyone that I know is happy with their work. I will be planning a road trip in my other car soon and plan to bring them that car so they can also give them a good treatment. I would suggest calling them and asking all the questions you may have. I was in communication with them 2 months before my PCD and they answered each and every question I had. Top notch shop with top notch service.

Tracwrap is an excellent product but really meant more for temporary use such at autocross, road trips, track days, and more. Hope this info helps, let us know if we can answer anything else. |

I installed Tracwrap outside the Welt after taking delivery of my M2 on 9/18. Removal was fairly easy on 9/28 in front of the Hilton Munich Airport before drop off. Only left a small amount of residue on the front grille. PCD is planned for redelivery. Hope to be able to coordinate PPF install with Extreme Colors. That said, it appears they use a combination of PPF products.

@ Xpel thanks. I watched a few videos of them wrapping m4’s with xpel and I thought it was a bit odd. Good to hear they will adjust.
As far as trac wrap, my plan is wrap the entire front bumper, hood, and rockers for the drive home from PCD and then take the car to my local xpel installer in DC. How much trac wrap do I need? I may want to double up some areas. |

If we're talking costs for the regular ULTIMATE Clear Bra then it can vary. For Full Front End: Full hood, front fenders, front bumper, mirrors and typically headlights. $1,895 - $2,195. For Full STEALTH / ULTIMATE wrap on an M2: $5,500 - 8,500. Hope this info helps, let us know if there are any other questions we can answer. |

Follow the below link...all the pricing is right there. Pay attention to "new car delivery" pricing. It is lower than the regular due to less prep needed.
I am not going to post the prices but just click the link |
