I have the 3M stuff on my other car and it's not good at all. Could have been the installation but it seems thick and ill-fitted to me. I'm going to let it yellow and then swap it out for XPEL.

I've had XPEL on my car for almost 6 months now and it has held up well. I took a video when I was inspecting it a couple of months ago. I'll probably take another video soon to show how it held up. My car has more than 7K miles now.

Suntek is thinner which is why it's easier for installers. Has better clarity than Xpel but being thinner, less protection.
Xpel is thicker and has more orange peel and less clarity. This can also be a plus because if your original paint isn't 100% perfect it will hide a lot of scratches. Smaller door dings will blend in to the orange peel better. Clear guard nano sr is the most expensive and a combination of the two. Having the most clarity and thickness. Not many installer thus higher price point and paint needs to be flawless or it will show due to the clarity. |

I have both Suntek and XPEL on my car. My car is white and I don't see any difference between the two. I originally had all Suntek but the installer did a terrible job on the front bumper, so I had someone else redo it. Now I have Xpel on the front bumper and Suntek on the headlights, mirrors and rear bumper. The film matters a lot less then the install.
I have had just about every brand of film since I starting using it in 2001. The only film that did not look that great was the original 3M film we got in 2001. I've had 3M, Llumar (still have 11 year old film on my SL500), Avery Dennison, Xpel and Suntek. Every generation seems to get a little better. I just wish my installer from 2001 was still around, he was the best.
