Anybody know if a 65" slim TV fits in the M2 trunk?

Actual box dimensions are: 66.0" x 37.4" x 8.1"

Fold down the seats and will it fit?

Having trouble finding online dimensions for the F87 trunk opening...

Found this image on the BMW site:

Might be easier to come in from the doors with the front seat all the way up and back seats folded rather than go in through the trunk but I don't know for sure. It would be smaller if you took it out of the box but then you need some blanket or something to protect the edges.

I doubt it... the taillights intrude into the trunk hole a lot so it's going to make it hard to get the TV through the hole and then into the interior.
You're also not supposed to transport a TV laying flat like that; they always want to be standing vertically. This is so the glass doesn't crack, and it has nothing to do with how the foam padding is arranged in the box and everything to do with physics and the stresses on the glass when it's horizontal.

A 60inch tv box will not fit in my previous 1 series. That should give you some perspective. The issue was not the width. It will go in from the back. But when i tried to slide it further in, the box cannot be leveled out to go on to the back seat. The tail light section is too tall.

Forget about getting it in from the door. It will not pass the center console. I have also tried it in my 1 series.

Agreed. I was told the same by multiple moving companies.

OP, get an Uber if distance is not too far

I was able to lay the passenger seat all the way down and get a 50' (without the box) into my E82 - I had my lady sitting behind the driver's seat to sort of keep it steady while I drove really slow.

That's been a while back, when the TV bezels were much bigger - might be possible with the new slim bezels to try the same approach?

No... Definitely not gonna work. Not even without the box.

I have the same size TV in my master bedroom and the box is gigantic (I wonder the size of the box for those over 100'' TVs).

Get it delivered. I believe usually you get these expensive electronics freight free from retailers for the most. If you are buying private, as someone mentioned above, get a professional freight company to cover the job. You dont want to see any damages of your TV.

hah thanks for the info all! I don't believe the LG OLED 4Ks are glass though so I don't think it matters if it lays flat...either way, probably just get it delivered.

Thanks again!

LG B7? Costco has a great price on them. Absolutely no way the 65” will fit. It fit in my MDX, but not by much.

Great TV.

Great TV.
LG B7A or C7P...doesn't make a difference to me. Same panel - just looking for the best cost around $2000

I can't see what the Costco price is but I should be able to get the C7P from Greentoe for ~$2000 shipped with tax included.

Pretty sure all modern flat panel TVs (including OLEDs) have glass in them.

It's possible to make a flexible OLED screen that uses a plastic substrate, but I believe that glass is preferred for TVs for clarity reasons.

Remember (if you are older enough) when you first heard about a TV that could hang on the wall like a picture? After years of tube TV's it sounded like an impossible dream.
Well they now have one that folds up like a blanket.....
My suggestion is ditch the flat screen and wait a couple of years and buy one of the above! Put is back there with the 3D tire printer in the trunk....
