Would you trade your M2 for a M4??
Very interested to hear what you guys think. Let's hear it!
Side note - I currently own a 2017 M2 and I'm considering trading it in on a 2015 M4 coupe, under 6000 miles on the odometer and a Dinan package making 530hp. |

Is more hp what YOU are after ? Why are you concerned about a Stock M3 being quicker? It's not like the zero to 60 times for each car stock aren't provided in the literature. |

Nope. I don't like the way the M4 handles.

Go check out the lap time section in the m3/m4 forums. There are several M2s in the top 3 spots on several different tracks.

Nope. To me, the M4 feels big, heavy and ponderous.
I think of the M4 as a luxury car that goes from point A to B like a bat out of hell, but struggles to make the journey enjoyable. The M2 is beautifully and delightfully balanced - the M4 is not. -scr |

Hell no!
I had an e92 M3 (that was big enough), the M4 got bigger. The M2 is the perfect size.

Of course, there are a lot of fast cars. I'm only interested in a M2 - M4 comparison. Each car shines in certain aspects and there is no clear winner. They are both great cars and unique in different ways. Interestingly enough, I posted the same question on the M4 forum and 99% of the M4 owners will not give up their car for a M2!

For what it's worth (not that they make one yet) but I think an M2, an M4 GC and some sort of SUV and you'd have a pretty ideal garage that you'd have the perfect machine at your disposal no matter what you needed on any given day.

The 530 HP is misleading. Dinan measures a stock F8x at 484 HP. Upgrade to stage 3 with the aftercooler. It's beastly. That should hold you over until their big twin turbo stage 4 is released.
Then you have supercar killer.
