Stock size tyres would work but I guess you don't want that and I really suggest running the 275/295 30 combo or at least the 265/295...

I think you could go for a different set of wheels with the right offset or just put 275/295 on first and camber out the rub

Note with the 275 AD08R on the front, tyres will rub with the front fender liners at certain steering lock angles but after 1 week of driving 99% of the rub will go away

According to BS and Yoko they are both 260mm wide on a 9 inch rim and the RE-71RS is actually a teeny-weeny bigger with the outer diameter at 663mm vs 661mm with the Yoko

So my guess is you are good with the A052

I had similar thoughts because people around here have been running the now discontinued 255/35R19 RE-71R on front M2C stock wheels supposedly without issue

Anyhow, section width is the same at 10.2" (260mm) for the A052, RE-71R(S), and even the PS4S, so I think the deciding factor will be tread width

Unfortunately, TireRack no longer lists the tread width of the 255/35R19 RE-71R because they have sold out

I have found the RE-71R tread width listed elsewhere at 9.3" but it is hard to compare tread widths from different sources as I don't believe there is an industry standard

I know where you coming from now...

Different tyre manufacturers have different standards to measure tyre tread widths so don't worry about using the tread width as an indicator of whether the tyre will fit or not...if the tyres are from the same manufacturer then yes it might mean something but if they are from different manufacturers, don't sweat on it

The shoulders of the RE-71R and Re-71RS are very broad so if you compare the build of the RE vs A052, they are not un-similar. The diameter of a 255/35 is only about 5mm more than a 245/35 so really I don't think the A052 in 255/35 will cause you any issues on the front especially since treads will wear down with usage

The A052 is probably THE Tyre to run on right now for serious track work...only motorsports tyres (A050 and slicks) are faster in the Yokohama catalogue

I just got off the phone with Michelin Customer Care and the news isn't great.

The MP4S 285/30/19 HAS officially been released in North America as of 1 April 2021.

BUT..... they're on back order and NOT being produced for at least the next four weeks (which is as far out as their production computer shows). The next update on production will be the week of 9 May 2021.

Apparently "due to Covid", Michelin has shut down a lot of plants, and the others are "cycling through tire sizes/models" at a reduced rate.

So, these are unicorns unless you happen to live in Europe.

I've asked that someone higher up the food chain reach out to me with a definitive answer on a reasonable date of availability, but I'm not holding my breath.
