Hi there... Thanks for posting... Fitted mine...

BUT - seems like the boot cigar lighter port is love 24/7? if thats true, did you fit a power magic pro to stop the battery going flat?

Sorry. It's not 24/7 on. More like a delayed off.

Easy install. Happy with that. Using the boot socket.

Though didn't look to see if I have the hidden socket under glove box...

Yes, there's a delay and blackvue shuts down after a while anyways. There is a socket under the glove box, but I don't think it is connected.

I was trying to install Thinkware 2 channel, but had difficulty running the wire to the fuse box in the trunk. any suggestion on where to run it? I tried running down the c pillar, but when I hit the cover for the back seatbelt, there seems to be no soft spot for the wire to hide. I couldn't take out any of the plastic cover, didn't want to pull too hard and break anything...

is there any diy guide out there for taking out the trim pieces?
new to the bmw scene and would like to know what other resources are out there.

Thanks

Sorry mate I'm not sure as i had it professionaly installed but i do know that they removed the majority of the trim along the top of one side to run the wires behind the side airbag, i then assume down behind the seat belt trim you are having issues with.

oh.. no worries, I will try to run it at the floor level inside the weather strip, and under the back seat. Hopefully, it'll work.

I got the 128GB, wasn't too much more than the 64 at the time, although I think 64 is adequate. I recommend the Lexar 633x microSDXC for anyone looking to upgrade. A lot of dash cam owners, especially Blackvue users, have had a lot of success with it as opposed to others like Sandisk.

Not sure how reliable the source is but I remember reading that super fast cards are not necessarily better.

"Our conclusions are that superfast cards like the SanDisk 64GB SanDisk Extreme Plus 80MB/s and Samsung 64GB Pro 80MB/s need to be avoided, these cards are simply just too fast and are the worst offenders for macro blocking or pixilation on Blackvue Cameras."
Source

I ended up getting the Lexar 300x based on their recommendation and it's been working great so far!

Has anyone wired one of these to the fuse box in the rear of the car? I have a hard-wire set-up I'm in the process of installing, but have no idea which is the best fuse to hook the Celllink-B battery to.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if the Cellink acts the same as a Power Magic Pro but i used fuses 100 & 144.

It's a little different in that only one fuse is required as the Cellink battery takes over when the ignition is switched off. I ended up using fuse 145, but any fuse that receives current only when the ignition is on will do.

I have a motopak multisafer. Any suggestion for a fuse that is constantly on for the fuse box in the trunk? I thought the door locks (#150) would be okay but doesn't seem so. Trying to avoid attaching directly to battery.
