Somewhat unrelated but I hit a curb with my driver side front wheel. I have the contis on a Dec MY17 build. Can I just swap the wheel to the curb side (typically more damaged) side? Or are these tires one way rotation?

Anyone with Conti's notice lots of sidewall flex? It's pissing me off. The tyres are at the recommended 2.4 bar Front and rear. Makes it a little squirmy under hard braking, too.

Oh and my dealer swapped my Conti's for the PSS

And, yes, I would be upset if the tires were squirmy.

I think I'm going to tear these up and just get a set of M4 size MPS4 ASAP.

There might be a thread I don't know about - and I'm curious. Why go with the larger tires ? (i.e. why did BMW fit a slightly narrower tire on the M2?)

More grip and I don't know, maybe to promote more slip?

Well, I was just thinking about this the other day... clearance issues? Don't want it to handle as good as the M3? I mean, they had to have a reason - no?

Clearance shouldn't be an issue. The wheels are 100% identical to the M3/4 and so are the suspension components.

And by all accounts it already out-handles the M3/4...

Just received a picture from the dealer. Pilot Super Sports. From what I read, most of week 6 people had Continental. I feel lucky.

My car arrived on Monday: MPSP.
The dealer said he never received a M2/M3/M4 with anything else than the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.
Is the Conti option a US only thing ?

Dumped my Conti's at 10,000 miles for the new Michelin PS4 and wow what a difference. I didn't think the gap between the Conti's and Michelin would be nearly as much as their is. Car does everything better now.
