anyone experience change of date of PCD
I recently received date of PCD, but they also sent notice not to book anything until 3 weeks prior due to any changes. Wondering how common a changes of delivery dates. I'm trying to schedule a few specific stops and plan childcare. Tentative June 7th PCD!

Got my PCD date of 6/28. I asked for a later date to accommodate my work schedule. This works perfectly. Can't wait!

What is your production week? I finalized my PCD travel once my car was on a boat. So far, so good. Have not heard of many date changes.

Do it. It is one of the most beautiful drives I've ever taken. I believe it also positions you for the tail of the dragon.

Just wondering why not stay an extra night and have XPEL done? That way you don't have to deal with all of this stuff and will last you a long time too.
Around $6500+ on full XPEL + extra night but will last you 10 years. That initial investment is well worth it. NOTE: Just realized while replying that this is only worth for people who bought their cars (me included). If you're leasing or is not planning on keeping the car then maybe it's not worth the investment. |

Second off, I hate to say it, but at $6,500 I don't think you will ever get your investment back on it (and yes, that's for a full Xpel job so I understand there are cheaper ones). However, just like an extended warranty, the piece of mind is probably priceless - especially if you are going to keep the car for a long long time. Third, at 46% residual, there is not a single compelling reason to lease this car No, not business deduction, not keeping your money in the bank, nothing (well, maybe you are worried about depreciation if you get into an accident, but/and, that is even kind of silly based on how bad 46% is vs. what the market is showing in terms of real world residuals.) Just my 2 cents And like I said, I get the piece of mind on #2, but I don't think it is something that you ever get your money back on.

Not much mention of date changes, going to wait a bit before finalizing everything. Planning on doing Tail of dragon and a ball game on way back up north. June 7 PCD

They look like MPSS but don't really care one way or the other.

A quick tease of my delivery from March 29.
Up top is seeing the car for the first time. Middle one is instructor Derek Leonard on the way back from picking up some cones my wife brutally murdered on the handling course. Last one is in front of the Zentrum Video of the 1st time starting her up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoLN139eWFE And a video of my wife getting instruction on the skid pad in the 340i https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7qbbam1hbM

tail of the dragon??
Looking for a few opinions. Would it be a bit much to tackle the 4 hour journey through the Tail of the dragon after PDC? I would be traveling with spouse who enjoys driving also. I'm heading to CT, don't mind the additional hours, but will it be to exhausting or will my first BMW M2 smile keep my pumped. Figure I spend the night near Knoxville. Put in final 12 hours after a good nights rest. June 7th PCD.
