I really find you lose the lines/aggressive flares in black and it looks too much like an m235i.

I am sold. The overall shape of the car looks best in black to me. I am not as concerned with the lines of the car. I don't think it's a handsome car, so a little toning down is fine by me. The car will be a sleeper rocket ship. But I understand others wanting their M car to stand out.

I love BSM. In the showroom. I hate my paint otherwise because every little nick, dent, scratch and speck of dirt shows up easily. Also, it has the worst case of orange peel on any black from any manufacturer. I could wash it twice a day and it would still never look clean. But it did look awesome in the showroom with 21 km on it!
I would have loved a silver, that would hide the imperfections much better. I ended up ordering blue because I've never owned a blue vehicle yet.

From the quotes I have gotten back it is cheaper to re-paint the whole frontend after a few years than to put on Xpel. So I have a hard time justifying it to be honest but as always I bet the prices to get it installed are way better on your side of the Atlantic Ocean.

As a black M235i driver I think black is kind of "dull". In black it doesn't have the presence like a black M4 has.
My choice would be LBB without thinking twice. If BMW offers more colors with the LCI update I'd probably go for mineral white as I don't like AW at all. |

I'm digging this shot. With 19's and some wider wheels this car will look absolutely mean . As a previous owner of a couple black cars including a CB e46 m3, I probably won't go BSM due to the dust in AZ, but that doesn't mean it won't look bad ass clean!
