I know this is a photoshop, cobble the parts together kind of picture, but its just so generic. There is no part of it that stands out and says "F Yeah! M2! You want this!"
It's just not raw enough ala 1M. I guess that's the best way I can describe how I feel about it. Too much "Toyota" blandness for my taste. I hope the real thing looks better. |

I think they should take that side profile shot down. The design is accurate, but the proportions are not accurate at all making it look odd. Take a look at the latest spy video on youtube (attached). The render almost looks elongated and "pointy" where the spy shot makes it looks much flatter and more integrated.
It also needs a more defined rear wheel arch as hinted by the previous camo photos. I think if those two issues were fixed, 90% of the people bashing it would change their minds very quickly. |

For some reason it doesn't look like a trooper to me. Again we need to see it in person but i was hoping it be more like the M3/M4

Coming back to this picture Attachment 1259775 and comparing it to this video, I think that the overall look is correct but the real front bumper will look a bit better integrated and less "tacked on" compared to the render.
[edit]: PackPride85 had the same idea it seems but I still think that side profile shot gives a better idea about how the car will look compared to the others, despite being a bit over the top. Last edited by sth519; 08-11-2015 at 07:19 PM.. |

I'm still not sold that this thing will have fangs. These renders are well done but I highly doubt they are that representative of the actual car. This one done earlier makes more sense to me, but is still not quite there:

The more I look at these pics, the Fuglier they get
The M3/4 is the real M cars if the M2 looks like this and only get a n55 v3.0

That will probably be a bit less extreme with the M2 (since it won't be as limited), but still, I don't see a reason why this car would be much worse than the (mostly brillant) 1M was. And when it comes to looks: I'm sure it won't be as pretty as an M4, but I also think that the M4 is one of the prettiest BMWs ever built, so that's hard to beat. And let's face it: The 1M wasn't really the most beautiful car either (IMHO) but it sure as hell looked special. I think it will be pretty much the same with this. Haha nah that's not what he was saying, the pic I posted was very recent, he was just adding to what I stated, but it doesn't matter, hoping for a concept reveal soon

I like that it's aggressive but I hope the real thing is a bit more subdued. I'm I the only one who thinks the bumpers are too much. A bit X5 even. Maybe it will grow on me. M3/4 much more elegant in the execution assuming this is an accurate depiction.
