Pyrat what did you end up doing with the wheel setup? Saw the comments R. Pobst mentioned about keeping a staggered setup vs a square setup for track purposes given the balance the car has in this form and now I am not sure about the 18x9.5 all around.

255/275 That is what I did. Sticky Icky rubber with hard sidewalls (for wear) on OEM wheels. I don't think I have Pyrat 2's modification budget...looking forward to seeing the new wheel set up!

Are there any other work arounds in terms of cheap and easy mods like for example using the m235i black grill surrounds and then swapping the slats to save money rather than buying the M2 specific black grill and slats? Is that the only one or has anyone discovered any others. My plan is black grills, black side gills, mirror caps, diffuser, painted front reflectors and the slatted rear reflectors made by the guy on this site.

Begin Zaino
My Week 41 arrived. Asked Dealer to Not wash. And they did not. Put about 50 miles on - what a kickass Driver's car - and then washed her. Now in garage going through complete Zaino program.

I didn't get the TE37s for track use. They will be my street/track wheels. I'll put RE-71Rs or RE-11s on them. I've always wanted some TE-37s and never had a good bimmer for them as I wanted the high concave face on them. Solved with the M2!

Installed my ASD bypass harness today, and I'm very happy with the result. Maybe it was my imagination, but with ASD engaged, not only did it send obnoxious fake sound through the cabin, but extra vibrations through the seat and shift knob too. Good riddance to that ASD crap, as far as I'm concerned. This car is now capable of being both an absolute beast, and a civilized cruiser on the highway.
