No Spacers as this is an aggressive, but BBS recommended, fitment for the car. I will eventually go to a 285/30 rear and 265/30 front now that see it will have no problem with fitting a slightly wider tire with these offsets.

The second thing I did today will be less popular. I put the leather shift boot and ebrake boot on the car. I like alcantara but not in places where it creases and collects lint.

Looks good!

Accordingly to the instruction from BMW this is the default setting to be made:

Height (edge of fender to lower rime edge)
Front: 595 mm
Rear: 600 mm

Settings on front:
Rebound: 9 klicks open
Bump: 6 klicks open

Setting on rear:
Rebound: 12 klicks open
Bump: 6 klicks open

Cheers

Yes, they do, but you have multiple setting possibilities for best road performance that suit you driving or track style

With standard setting the lowering of the car is approximately:
Front: 25 mm
Rear: 15 mm

On front you can go additional 10 mm lower.

In the Mperformance guide the lowering is set to 5-25mm which I see as modest information.

Cheers

Will 255/35 front and 275/35 rear fit (not rub) on the stock wheels and/or your BBS CI-R ?

As we know, BMW used the M3/M4 437M 19" Black wheels but reduced to 245/35 front and 265/35 rear as the original size was deemed more appropriate for the M2 (well, that was the official explanation).

It looks like there is plenty of room for the M3/M4 tire sizes. I think a 265/30 will work up front and 295/30 might fit in back. I might chicken out and get a 285/30 rear but that would force me to get Conti's instead of Michelin PSS.

Connects to OBDII? Should be incompatible with JB4, right?

I didn't hook it up since I leave it full bright all the time in my other cars. If want to dim it I just hit a button for a second.

If you have the newer style JB4 that uses the OBDII port than no since the gauge uses the that port.

Forgot to mention that I have the track pack software that reads AFR and gives you more performance timers.

After having it washed and a ODB readout to investigate some limp modes I had with the car, I put it asleep... It will not move much the coming weeks.

Planning to also get the P3 gauge.

Sober, discreet, easy install, only kills half an air vent near the door and features two independent buttons (not using the cruise control switch as the more advanced AWRON gauge does). And - apart from all its features - better readability of the (real) speed than the analog speedometer when poorly backlit in overcast lighting conditions, or the small figures of the OBC digital speedometer showing an adjusted speed.

Beek Auto Racing in The Hague can order the gauge for you if you want... They are a dealer of the P3 Cars Guage. Ask for Klaas van Vuure and say Marc with the M2 sent you. Maybe he can make you a nice price
