Thumbs up

So great render up above, but the front aero in that render still suggests the older thought of aero and an M235i rear bumper.

I'm no photoshop master.

However I added a little more detail to the front aero/headlights. Also the rear bumper is the one that Artemis and I figured out in one of the sticky threads (and can also be seen if you look through the camo on the most recent spy shots).

I had issues making the rear flare be what I think it will be but I made it a little more pronounced at the lip.

Looking at the spy shots closely, it appears the M2 will have a bulge at the fenders, AND a quick lip as well (combo of M3/M4).

Cheers, sorry for it being a little messy

After looking at the "California Spotted" M2 Mule next to the F82, I just thought to myself, man...the F8x looks really good...I'm so undecided at this point and I need more time (*Read - Money) before I pull the trigger on the F8x.

I'm waiting for the reveal as well, before deciding on the 2-3-4...or an E92v8.
It's a good problem to have, hang in there

It is a good problem to have...I also have thoughts of an E92 M3...I'm really concerned about the Rod Bearing issue out of warranty. All the carmax E92 Ms have dried up too (There were close to 40 earlier this year) as I was looking there for a while. However, from a depreciation standpoint and financially it may be a smarter choice (unless it it throws a rod bearing, of course). Currently, an F80 M3 is just a tad out of the price range, but come March/April of next year I can do it (I'm going to be purchasing/financing with a considerable down payment).

Aware of the rod bearing concerns. You have to do oil analyses frequently and cough up the $2-3k to replace proactively. I've driven one and can't move on past the thunderous induction noise. The new M is a fart can, by comparison (flame suit on).
Let's see that "Junior" a.k.a. M2 has in store before deciding

Haha, yea I know the e92 is a beast, but the F8x is a torque monster. I have been saving up for a few years. My last ///M was a 2001 LSB M3. Before that I had an e92 335i, another E46 M3, and an E36 M3/4/5. It has been a few years since I've had an M car and it's killing me not to be in one right now!!!! I guess my patience is wearing thin at this point and I'm not a patient person haha.

I've never had an M car. The 328 was my 1st and then came wife's GT tank.

Stay in touch. It would be interesting to see what we end up with.

When's this damned reveal????

OK

I'm also not excited anymore because of the new Dodge Durango. Was pretty much between that and the M2...
Giulia looks sweet, and sounds mean!

Just poking fun at the troll. I'm always surprised by weird cross shopping against niche vehicles like the M2. I don't see why anyone who could afford both and doesn't see either in terms of value proposition would choose an M2 over an M3 if they didn't find the difference in size and driving dynamics to be important in distinguishing the two.

More importantly it points exactly at the Ascari. As in race track. Now if Scott26 could add a date and stop killing us.
