Hey guys i have a question. I'm looking to purchase or lease a M2 competition in about a year or so. Currently i've been seeing them go at the lowest at 59000$ with a high of 71000$. MSRP is all over the place depending on the configuration.
I live in the SF Bay Area in California. I've been in talks with two dealerships and right now they seem pretty stuck at trying to sell to me at MSRP. I feel like i should be able to get them lower however i have no proof that i can. Currently i'm leasing a 2020 230i but part of me wishes i just made the jump to the M2 competition instead. If i were to trade in the lease now i'd be taking a 2000$ hit which might be ok, but thats only if i can talk them down. Does anyone have any advice on talking them down to as close to invoice as possible? Does anyone know what invoice is for this car? My configuration that i want. Manual, Black color. No executive package. Priced out on BMWusa.com that should be about 59,950$ (give or take). I also have a lot of discounts i can add based on my job and my BMWCCA membership. ANy advice would be great thanks! |

If it's only a 2k hit for the 230i, I would think a dealer would jump on that and cut you a deal. Also check if BMW has a lease pull ahead program.

Hi,
I'm leasing a 2017 M3 and I have about $4200 left with lease payments which will end in June. I was asking my dealer about 2020 M2C and they offered to write me a check for $4200 and a $3000 off of $63k MSRP before Sales Tax and Fees. What do you guys think? |

Go to another dealer...I know plenty offering to wash the remaining payments. Here in NYC, I got 4k in negative equity with 14 months remaining on my lease...and my payment had negative equity.
Several F80 owners I know (that didnt have negative equity) got incredible deals too...I wouldn't take that offer |

Anyone willing to give me some advice.
I'm looking for a manual, exec pack M2C in the Southeast and the dealer in my area is only at $1749 discount for an allocation order for one of their soon to be built units. They also told me that I'm lucky because M2's usually go at sticker. Based on my conversations with you all here I know that's not the case. I'm seeing people get 5k+ off here with no issues. So if anyone knows a dealer willing to play ball, let me know. I'm willing to go 500 miles from Charlotte NC. |

The northeast seems to have had some pretty good deals lately (~10-11%), the midwest (CO) seems to be about half that (~5-6%), and the west coast seems to go pretty close to sticker. There are outliers, but that's what I've gathered from surfing the 'boards. R. |

It just sucks. The dealers in my region are generally owned by the same dealer group. So competition is relatively minimal. However, I'm willing to look around. |

Conissah, $60K OTD is sounds like a pretty good price. Did you get the car below invoice before taxes and fees?
