Every time there's a "news" about the M2 on the front page, we get an influx of random people on this board haha. I'm ready for the reveal as well.
Stop nesting on this site and let the hunters take over.

IMHO this applied even more to the old 1-series (including the 1M).

Based on the walkaround video of the grey M2 mule, I think it won't be quite as bad on the real M2 as it looks on the renders, but I guess we won't know for sure for another month.

I hope so; but, the possibility, by the comments I've read, is somewhere between "maybe" and "no."

It was a childish way of saying that the more established members of this forum shouldn't be so protective of it and hence complain about new BMW fans joining, posting, and generally getting excited about new product offerings like the M2 when new information becomes available. that's all.

I don't think he was being protective, I think he was just stating the huge difference in knowledge regarding the M2 between people on the M2 Discussions board and elsewhere

You got me wrong. There's nothing wrong with interest in the M2, that's a great thing. What really bugs me is that all the info that we know, that a lot of effort has gone into uncovering is right there in the first post. It's not like the people that have been following this car for over 1 year have more say or anything.

Yet we get useless post like: Wait, is DCT going to be available? What, only 4 colors? This just an M235i, definitely not buying it.

It adds absolutely nothing to the discussion.

While I'd never get the vert, I think that would be really cool to see. Don't know of any cars that would compete against it.

I'm actually a fan of the way the regular 2er verts look. I much prefer it to the 4er vert to be honest.

If they don't, you can always get option 403 (electric glass roof) on the base M2 as consolation.

What ? No fog lights in the front, heated backseats, Individual Color, doors with the 'Soft Close Automatic' feature, etc. Bummer. BMW, what happened ?

Depends. It's not what's been done. It's what you can do with it.

It's amazing what a change in lighting can make. This render of LBB looks almost green!

Well then ask Bimmerpost to stop putting crap on the front page. BMW is just feeding off this garbage and not giving anything back. Sure, send some old guy out on the autobahn for a few kilometers with an M2 mule that has had a few extra centimeters of camo peeled off and it's front page news. Big deal. BMW knows it. Bunch of assholes, if you ask me.

There will be absolutely nothing added to any discussion if BMW doesn't add anything to discuss...which they haven't.

Like that time someone saw the M2 kidney grilles on ebay and it made front page news. That was a little ridiculous haha.

I'm starting to think that these test mules, especially the LBB ones, are actually the "striptease teasers" that were supposedly in the works...

They definitely are. The post with the most recent spots was done by an account with 4 prior posts and 0 rep. It was a brand new account. That was not a real member, that was the bimmerpost people doing it from orders by BMW marketing.

Ah, conspiracy theorists

I have high resolution images emailed to me directly from the owner who was on european delivery driving his M235i when he photographed the Long Beach Blue M2. He has a real verifiable name, and the email came from his company's email address (yes, a real company).

And nobody gives us orders, BMW marketing included. Any other conspiracy theories?
