Agreed. I was skeptical at first but wow they are impressive.

Had TC Kline coilovers installed (single adjustable) as well as 9.5/10.5 apex rims and MPS4S tires. Much more comfortable vs stock with the recommended street settings. Noticeable right away.
No spacers needed, plenty of space for wider tires down the road. The linear springs provided in the kit seem to be narrower vs the stock springs. Tires are 255/35 and 275/35/19, lowered 3/4” front and rear. No noise for now from the TC camber plates 👍 |

DIY 50k km (30k mile) service. Decided to stick with OEM rear differential fluid but will likely change to Motul in the future.
I have had that AST 1/4 turn funnel since my B6 A4 1.8T days. It’s incredibly well built with an aluminum adapter with stainless steel locking tabs and fits the S55 engine surprisingly. |

Installed the Autotecknic rear diffuser. Fitment at first was a 2/10. The clips on each end were not straight, at a 90 degree angle. They were diagonal cut. The clips were not able to go into the bumper holes. I ended up filing both sides down carefully.
The next issue was the two clips at each end would not securely fashion. The bumper holes seems just a tad too large. I ended up rolling 3M automotive tape around the whole so the clips would snuggly remain. I left the plastic backing on the 3M tape so the clips could slide in easier. Fitment now I’d say is an 8/10. Happy enough with how it turned out. |

Full Screen Apple CarPlay
I just activated FS CarPlay on my F87 through Bimmer Remote Coding. It's flawless and I can't believe I waited this long to do it. The update took maybe 5 min. Smooth, easy, painless.
I documented the process here for those interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMv4RrFFcNQ

Drove it back to back with the only other BMW that I'd now consider. My 6MT M2C is one of my forever cars, but this GTS is just incredible. Never thought an F8x can feel like this.

Yea I went in thinking it's just a souped up F8x but boy was I wrong. It really shows what this platform is capable engine and chassis wise!

Id love to drive one but I just love that it has a cage, better suspension (for the track), some aero. Even though I would change the wheels, never was a fan of all the orange stuff. But to me is a perfect out of the box car for one tracks their car.
