Yikes. Don't even let the auto dealer pull your credit. You'll have to explain in writing any inquiries that show up if the lender does a credit refresh. Also be careful about any checks you've given the dealer. This stuff is subject to review until the closing date.

I am aware, hence the need to close before the car comes. It's gonna be close. I should already be in the new house but the people who are buying my house are having a hard time getting their mortgage.

Thanks. I know this is killing me. My wife is 6+ months pregnant with our second daughter and wants to be in the new house and settled and I want my car. I am hoping for an answer from them any day. I am good to go on my end I am just in a waiting game and it sucks.

And a baby! That happened to me before with the house. Ended up not moving because the buyers sucked. 8 years later just ended up renting out the place and buying another house. You might want to consider that too

My car finished production on the 19th of May , but has yet to be shipped. So far it has missed 3 vessels coming to Melbourne. Can anyone enlighten me on this ?

Where specifically did you enter it? I tried my vin in every field and nothing came up.

It might be on a different carrier or not on the ship yet. Call genius.

OK so I just called BMW Genius. It just made it to port yesterday in Germany and is still waiting to be put on a ship. So not the same ship as RussM2, but if F87queen's car hurries up and gets to port, they might be on the same ship.

I just called genius stated "handed over to the carrier waiting to get to the port."

So your car took about 10 days to get to the port after production was completed? Is it just me or does that seem like a long time? I've ordered several bimmers over the years and recall transfer to the port only taking 2 or 3 days. My previous cars came out of Munich or Regensburg, so perhaps transfer from Leipzig takes longer? Or is this M2 specific?

My car should have finished production today and I was hoping for an early July delivery. I'm now starting to think it will be late July or even August before I see it...

Yeah I am not to sure of the factory to port schedules for the various factories or if it the car in general. I seemed like mine and RussM2 were completed at about the same day and his is already on a boat, so who knows.
