United Road isn't exactly a tracking service, it will only tell you if your car has been delivered to the dealer. That is useful because it means I can call my CA and bring it to his attention if he isn't already aware.

I did check this morning and nothing, but will try again tomorrow.

I am slightly better now, thanks. Delayed my trip to lunch time today and slept in a bit. Still don't feel good, but I don't want to miss heading to L.A. or I won't be able to pick up this week!

Got word from my CA that my M2 has arrived at dealer and is available for pick-up as soon as tonight. I'm in LA.

Nope, it's still at the VPC. I'm getting worried slightly, because out of the 35 M2s that came in on Thalatta, 24 have already been delivered to dealers. Mine is one of the 11 that hasn't, and I really don't want it to be because it was damaged in transit.

I don't think I'm going to be able to pick up this week if it doesn't get to the dealer today

So an update, for those that are following my situation... I still haven't picked up my car yet; it's still at the VPC.

I'm mildly concerned that it might have been damaged in transit, but there are still a few (around 10) M2s that haven't made it out of VPC from the Thalatta, so that's certainly not definite and my CA says that's not the case.

According to my CA, the issue is simply that the VPC is overwhelmed with cars. I'm actually not surprised to hear that, because Thalatta had over 1,000 cars on it, and Fedora before that a similar number. Tortugas that arrives this weekend has 1,186 BMWs on it as well. The VPC is handling an unrelenting stream of cars and getting them all through in 5 days must be difficult.

I'm probably looking at a Tuesday next week pick up at this point. I'm not booking flights until I know the car is at the dealer.

Damn I hope it all turns out alright. I just picked up my car today (also was on the Thalatta) and it is simply amazing. It was a bit unnerving trying to get home through all the thick traffic.

There is a screen in Dealerspeed that shows any VPC holds. If it is damaged it will show: "Holds: Repair"

If that's not there you're probably ok
