I have a 135i and have driven the 228i a few times and sat in several other 2 series, including M2. If you were ok in your friend's 135i, you'll be fine in the M2. To me the 135i has a slighly smaller cabin than the 2 series. The 2 series cabin feels a bit wider and less closed in.

Nope. Stolen from the News Section featured post on M4 v. C63S.

I use mine as a DD and only downside is that it's a bit harsh in the city. Speed bumps, train track crossings, cobble stones and other "obstacles". I also think the DCT box isn't at it's best in the city. The 8 speed is much smoother.

Correct...for me the DCT is at his best when driving really fast and on a track...not in the city. In the end I bought a manual 😉

I'm also curious to know from you owners when you determine the car has properly warmed up to start romping on it?
I was remember one of the reviews (I think MT) mentioned it lacked proper gauges such as Oil Temp. Being a turbo car, I always like to make sure Oil is at its optimal temp before I take it above 4K. Did it with the GTR and I do it on my Golf R. Any thoughts? |

A lot of guys thought this was causing early cam bearing failures as the cars didn't have OEM oil temp gauges. So at 6 minutes it looked warmed up and people would start thrashing them. This was an engine with an 8500 RPM redline. |
