No coding. Its showing on bimmerLink. When i say i added the values i meant the sensors. Probably worded that wrong. Its just to confirm that the car does indeed have a gear position sensor

Hi, i did the coding, and i have gears displayed, but it is still suggesting to go to higher gear.
Car is 2019 M2C EU.

Is this ok? I Thought it would stay on selected gear all the time.

This is correct. Now go in idrive and uncheck the the box for gear display suggestion.

Some Euro cars will need that coded in the idrive.

So here are the changes that I made to make it happen.

Instrument Cluster  In Esys, Bimmercode expert mode, protool, etc.
3003 FZG_Ausstatung   

SPA_ENABLE change to nicht_aktiv 00 (default aktiv 01)
SPA_IST_GANG_ENABLE change to aktiv 01 (default nicht_aktiv 00)

Note, it will no longer give you suggested gear, as far as I can see.
FWIW when I had both of them enabled, the display had incompatibilities and it would not display correctly, as well as the settings in iDrive would not respond anymore. Do not leave both on.

I appreciate giving credit if you paste this elsewhere.

Please let me know if it worked for you.

I can do it remotely if needed via ENET cable for those that have neither.

I did this in BimmerCode and can confirm it worked on my 2020 M2C

I mixed SPA_IST_GANG_ENABLE change to aktiv 01 (default nicht_aktiv 00)

With 300D KOMBI in the head unit section
I thought that KI_DISP_CB_SPA is SPA_IST is SPA_ISt...

Can someone tell me what is default for KI_DISP_CB_ SPA ? I forgot was it on aktiv or NIcht aktiv.
