Thanks for the response; sorry, I didn't see it until now. It's shiny 3M vinyl wrap. To be honest, the installer didn't really seem to know much. He said maybe I could, but maybe not. Obviously, not much help. I also asked if I could iron-X (or equivalent) the wrap, and he said NO.

You can put a coating on the wrap that shouldn't be a problem.

Looking for a nice satin tire dressing that dries fairly dry but protects the tire somewhat from UV, etc.
Pros/ Cons / Difference between NANOLEX Tire and Rubber Restorer and Adams Super VRT? You sell both. Thanks! |

Adams super vrt is a favorite of mine for tires and trim. Provides good protection and a nice deep satin finish. I have a feeling nanolex tire and rubber restorer is similar to the adams tire and rubber restorer, cleans the tire and provides a nice dry and deep black finish, but doesnt have that sheen look to it like Super VRT.

What would happen if you wrapped a gloss carbon fiber diffuser or any gloss carbon fiber material for that matter in a stealth xl matte finish? Would it look like a perfectly matte carbon product? Any chance the thickness would effect installation? Thx in advance.

I need some advice on my incoming M2C. In my E39 M5 and Z4M coupe, leather conditioning (including Leatherique when needed) is mandatory. I wasn't sure about the Merino leather in my F80 M3, but conditioned it as well with LeatherMasters Vital followed by their protection cream. The leather in the M3 seems less supple and more durable than that in the M5 for Z4M (the M5 being the most supple).
I've heard the Dakota leather in the M2C is coated and thus conditioner is not useful. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Have you ever seen a ceramic coat flake like it hasn't adhered to the paint work. On a mates car it is like there was wax still on the car before application. 18 months later it has flaked in a few places. Size approx 1"x1.5"

DetailersDomain Hey Phil, Kev, whoever is answering haha. I used a clay bar yesterday for the first time on the front of my car. Finishing rest today.
I'm a bit concerned about the pressure that was required to take out some stubborn spots. I had to definitely use more pressure than what I thought I had to. And other areas down near the side skirts near the front wheel didn't come out. Thoughts? |
