I'm sure it's just the angle of the pic but to me it looks more upright than wide, like it could be X2M or X4M.

It's a Vehicle Chassis Lookup system through BMW intranet, that's the system we use at dealerships over here. It does have specifications on it, yes.

Anyone notice how much more forward the entire snout/kidney grill is?
The distance from the hood line is much further almost like the entire center is pushed forward to become very pointy center front, a la 8 series concept.

...which is what I don’t get given the fact this is going to replace the base M2. I thought half the point of the M2 was for BMW to have an “affordable” true M-car...? If the CS starts at $60k+, and the base M2 is discontinued, there goes that affordable M-car!

Based on what Scott said I would be thinking more Polaris Silver as seen in the original M1. I will be very happy with that!
