Passed by a Smart Car!

Hello all,

Just a fun fact.

I was driving back from Turning Stone with my wife and we were going plus 10, moving along basically with the traffic, when along comes another car moving about plus 20. It was a SMART CAR! My wife and I did a double take. I didn't know those things could go so fast!

I was actually passed by a smart car on the Autobahn during my 2011 ED. I was going 90 mph.

LOL! When I was picking up my 135i in Toronto a few years ago someone warned me that the cops were doing an enforcement week on the 401. So there I was carefully going just 5 kph above the limit and got passed by TWO Smart cars (likely locals who knew where the speed trap risk zones were). Kind of humiliating.

At 1800lbs, it only needs a 200bhp engine to have better hp/weight ratio than the M2.

If you tuck in tight, you should be able to draft by them on a long straight like they're standing still!

Haha, I know what you mean. For my May 2017 ED, I had to hit 95+ to pass the smart car on the autobahn!
