Comp pack doesn't get its own typschlüssel and a line in that file. Typschlüssel is assigned based only on vehicle model, LCI status, engine model and revision, transmission model and revision, and drive type. Comp pack, on the other hand, is simply a couple of lines in the options list.

Will the CS have a DCT only transmission and the Competition Package offered in manual?

Just read your thread, so M2 CS is M2 Competition Pack but not ZCP like M3/4. M2 comp pack will be a much larger development add-on with S55 engine?..and therefore costing the 8-10k premium vs the 3k for the M3/M4 upgrade? Also, those colours, are they 100%? |

So this car would not be a Competition Packet (Package) ZCP option for about a $5k USD increase, but a car with an S55 engine and a substantially higher premium like the M4 CS?

Whether there is an additional CP is another story as this is just another item on the options list not another model entry. |

Has there been any change to that or are we destined to just get a DCT M2 CS ? |

The first press M2's were all DCT's. Hopefully the M2 CS has a manual option.

Well, I don't want to promise anything, but having just taken a much closer look at this, I think I was seriously wrong when I made that statement. We should be optimistic. |

This means that at this moment I can't say that we aren't.
To understand why I'm hedging, just remember that at some point the U.S. was supposed to get F45, or RWD F31 and F34, or manuals in some of the versions of F3x that ultimately ended up automatic only. Basically, BMW engineers want to giveth, but the marketing taketh that stuff away. |

For me no manual CS no sale. I already have a M2 CS deposit down with pricing in writing. So I am ready to purchase but only one condition, manual transmission!

I bet if you go through that production search page using the last few VIN digits and filter out the engine code you'll find some with S55 by now.....

You guessed it right: interior is still black dakota leather only, but you'll be able to choose blue or orange stitching, regular leather or perforated. |

Curious to see how Hockenheim Silver looks! I'd get an M2 in Silverstone if it were available. Are these colors strictly reserved for the CS or will they become available for the standard M2 as well?

Same here. Always like Silverstone. Way better than regular silver. Curious what Hockenheim Silver looks like.
