Okay, I did some research , and apparently someone coded it so it shows every time, but for an older idrive. Its worth for someone to look into it and see if its possible for us.

2 questions:

1) Can you code out the bulb check(s)? I want to change some of the rear bulbs to LED.
2) I want the front amber bulbs to be on only when the turns are on.

There is a section that points to bulbs and led's in front or rear electronic module under voltage monitoring. Download the app and you can check demo mode to confirm.

I did a quick search so sorry if this annoys anyone.

I just used the BimmerCode iPhone app to change a few things. The one I was interested in was Video In Motion. I went through the steps and it took me to a menu that had two listed items (I did not capture image of screen) each was the same three letters with periods. This was after holding the navigation knob forward as directed. I never got to a menu to set VIM on the head unit as described on the application.. I did have my presets and button memory wiped though, thanks for that.....

It also wiped my xm Radio (I guess that will reset) and my BMW on line browser (not that it's any good since it does not recall passwords etc, limited browser, not worth the money).

I am reluctant to do it again since I redid my memory buttons LOL.

1. Can I backup the presets and memory button settings before coding, and then put them back without messing up the new coding.
2. Does Video In Motion also let you use the built in voice to text function for the text messages ( I use Siri and that works great ) but I'd just like to know if all the 'must be parked' features are 'unlocked'.

I may have answered my own question on the backup. If I export the profile to a thumb drive would that include all the memory presets for that row of buttons? I'll give it a try when I redo the VIM code. Then try to put it back from the thumb drive.

I just used BimmerCode to upgrade from iDrive5 to iDrive 6 - then quickly back to iDrive5 again. It shows the image of a 5 series and I don't know how to change it to a 2 series or M2 - is this possible? If so how do you code it with BimmerCode?

I actually like the stock Idrive 5 better especially with the orange color theme that matches well with the interior lighting.

Does anyone know if the app supports enabling or disabling TPMS? Canadian cars from the factory with FTM instead, but can use TPMS sensors as long as the car is coded...wanted to know if this can be done using Bimmercode

My understanding is that as long we we provide the sensors, you can code it. The option is available in the app since other markets have tpms.

Does anyone know what stock setting for angels eyes are at night before coding to 100%? BTW the 100% is super bright but kinda don't mind it. I also noticed during the day the angel eyes seems brighter too but not sure if it's actually the case.
