FWIW, just did a live chat with a UK BMW Genius and she said the Individual program is not available for the 2018 LCI M2. It really means nothing though.
She is correct !

Wow, the gauges are like night and day....literally! Thanks for the images, and for those unsure whether to wait or not, the gauges may be the deal breaker here?

Gauges look pretty slick. Although I doubt that 8k redline will make it to production models.

Hm, something interesting might be inside the engine bay.

That's the same tachometer threshold as the M3/4 so that must be the cluster for the CS as we know the base M2 has no change in engine or output. Interesting, very interesting...

Probably is the M2 CS based on the high redline.Too bad there isn't a pic of the lower part of the front bumper,to see if the car definitely is the CS..I don't see any pics that show the seatbelts,so they probably still have the M colors. The 2ertalk.de forum always seems to come up with some good info for the M2.Thanks for the pics.

BMW loves tickling our nuts. We dream about 8k redline...we see 8k redline...we all know we will end up getting 6,500 redline.

God I hope I'm wrong.

IMHO, no way it's a CS. Impossible it's produced like that for someone to see up close. Also, CS will feature alcantara interior with the CS embedded on the dash, just like the M4 CS. Not to mention alcantara on the doors as well.

I have a deposit down for what will be a MY2018 model. I like all the changes, but would still be happy to have an M2 now without them.

Bingo. Almost confirms rumour of CS having the TFT cluster too.

Can't wait for this to be available. Only thing I want to update my MY17 with.

I'm not saying it is the CS but this is a preproduction car so it will not be the final spec. It is also missing the M on the gauges etc that the base M2 has.

2erTalk is very often ahead of the pack and spot on. Also a brief video clip surfaced of that mystery M2 pre-production instrument cluster:

Looks great... I really like all the tails. I dis-like the pre-LCI tail lights with the curved upward lines within the lens. The reverse lights look better at the lower edge as well. Everything looks good.

I actually prefer the alcantara finish with just stitching on the edge.
