Has anyone gotten their car for below MSRP yet?
Hey guys, I contacted some dealers here in CA and $2k over msrp seems like the "going rate" right now.
I looked through some old threads but couldn't find much deal info Has anyone been able to get the car for below MSRP yet? Particularly for euro delivery? |

I got mine for MSRP here in the mid-atlantic region. Have you considered buying from out of state for MSRP and then having it shipped to you for less than $2,000?
And I don't expect the price to fall below MSRP until the supply outweighs the demand. |

I guess technically mine was below msrp because I got a fleet discount. But definitely didn't pay above sticker.

There have been some fleet discounts, etc., so technically below MSRP haha.
I think I only remember reading one forum member getting legitimately below MSRP price, but he was a frequent (ie. multiple cars per year) buyer at that dealer. Even then it was less than $2,000. |

Got it, thanks guys. Do we have any evidence of owners being able to sell their used cars within a year for MSRP? (e.g. similar to a Porsche "GT" car) or is that wishful thinking?

I could definitely sell mine for MSRP in Canada and could very likely sell it for $5K more used. There's maybe 5 cars listed nation-wide. |

In Canada that's definitely possible. Auto West is selling a 2016 for 80k, which is above MSRP and it was a BMW Canada press car, so it probably hasn't had the best life:

Just put a deposit down on an m2 for Euro MSRP + fleet discount ($2500). Will be ~$50,400 with metallic paint and exec pkg.
Not under MSRP, but pretty dang good! |

It would be like saying a USAA discount is a Veteran's car, but then again, I guess it is So maybe not the best analogy. If BMW is like any other large corporation. The fleet discount paperwork goes to one department and the ED paperwork another. Last edited by omasou; 03-09-2017 at 08:03 AM.. |
