PFC 08 and 11 track pads just released for the F87 M2
Performance Friction Pads Now Available for ALL New BMW M Sport Applications Including the F87 M2!
BMW M Sport Pads NEW M Sport Factory Calipers are Now Available on Over 100 New BMW Models! Both pad shapes are available in 08 & 11 Compounds. 11 & 08 Compound Descriptions PFC11 Compound A new generation sprint and medium distance friction - the ultimate in control, with superior disc conditioning. Developed from 01 compound with improved bite, modulation, and release characteristics. It is ultra smooth and developed to reduce wheel locking at the end of a stop while giving more cold and hot bite than the endurance oriented 08 compound. Brake with confidence-brake with ultimate control and modulation. PFC08 Compound One of PFC's most popular compounds which came to fame in Endurance Sportscar and GT racing due to its performance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must. 08 has a slight friction rise with temperature, excellent release and modulation characteristics. Despite its considerable performance, 08 has the lowest wear rate of all PFC compounds and can easily match the wear characteristics of the other competitor's materials but with much higher bite and consistent performance across a broad temperature range. These are just as popular as the RS29 on the E8x E9x M platforms. RS29 were constant sold out on the F8x M, but now PFC08 enters the market there should be plenty of both pads available.

Pagid doesn't currently have anything similar to the PFC11 compound for the BMW Bremdo calipers. PFC08 is what you want if you want the longest wearing pad with a smooth bite. |

On the other hand I like pads with a strong initial bite (RS-29 is fine with me, but RS-14 was even better, but a little aggressive for my AP racing discs) |

I know; but I can drive my RS-29 perfectly on the streets without any issues (besides noise).... PFC08 is comparable with RS-29 I presume? Which one of those two has the most initial byte and would be lowest on noise?

Yes, PFC08 has similar characteristics as the RS29. If you have to compare initial bite, the RS29 has slightly more. PFC11 has even more initial bite over the other two. Noise will is similar(loud) on all 3.

Bump for my favorite brake pads.
I'm not a fan of the " initial bite " of Hawk Pads. Those that are typically won't like Performance Friction. Rather than having a ton of torque on the initial application of the brakes, I want that SAME amount of torque ( or give me MORE !) as I depress the brake pedal harder. I'm not a tailgating demon ... I don't need Max torque the moment I depress my brakes.. I want extreme torque when I use the brakes ...the longer I am on the brakes .. ! THAT's when I want MORE torque. ! I prefer consistent pedal feel all the way through my braking.. I Absolutely love performance friction. Ferodo (ds2500 for combo and 3000 for track only ) is also very good as well. |

LoL that both compounds of PFC brake wel is already known...same with Pagid RS-29. I had a lot of different pads on my Z4M (with AP brakes). On my M2 I wanted to try something else...from reference I heard very good things about PFC and Endless... In the end I ordered Endless to try out before PFC

I heard from someone running PFCs and Pagids that these would not be as loud as the Pagids. They also promote the fact that these pads are quieter than most and their website.
Could I expect the PFCs to be truly quieter than other brands or is it nearly identical ? |
