Do people notice your M2?
Originally I wanted the obvious signature Long Beach Blue for the M2, but I only found the Mineral Grey with the black trims and carbon fiber side mirrors DCT option.
Under some light I dare say looks better than the LBB one, but only under some lights. During day light the MG doesn't really make a statement, which can be good and bad. My old Yas Marina Blue M4 got attention on a consistent basis, mainly due to the rare color. How much attention your M2 gets? So far only one person has noticed it, but clearly it was a BMW enthusiast. My M2 Last edited by VR-Tech; 02-25-2017 at 02:00 PM.. |

I've only had mine for 2 days. I got BSM. I got a beep and thumbs up from a guy in an old ford pickup yesterday. Today, I was driving to drop it off for suntek/expel and a guy in a ferrari pulled up next to me on the highway and gave an approving nod, which was nice. Other than that, definitely it seems to stay under the radar a bit, which I like. I prefer a thumbs up from an enthusiast over too much attention.

I chose MG, in part, to stay under the radar. Enthusiasts will notice and I don't care about anyone else.

My BSM car gets noticed by nearly everyone but mainly because of the Dinan exhaust with sport cat downpipe with its ability to register up to 6.2 on the Richter scale.

LBB. Got several thumbs up and nods in last few months mainly from BMW enthusiasts, but also from WRX owners. Got a free car wash once. Today, a 1M wanted to play. Also get occasional complements on the color from passers by. LBB is not a stealth color option for sure :-). I love it.

Heaps of looks from drivers and pedestrians, even had my car photographed and posted on a local fb car spotting page which is usually only graced by Porches, Ferrari's, Lambo's etc.

I had my first encounter tonight out in the sparsely populated suburbs - 997 Turbo cab aggressively wanted me to straight-line race him. He kept at it for about 5 miles and I wouldn't give in (had friends in the car). The guy was definitely a douche - yelling at me with my windows up. And his car was obscenely fast, of course. I knew I was no match.

Receive thumbs up frequently, mainly from
1. Subaru Drivers (WRX, STI) 2. Ford Mustangs (weird, but they give you thumbs up all the time, you would think otherwise from Mustang lovers) 3. Classical BMWs (e46 m3, e92 m3......) |
