Latest iStep ECU Lock?

Hi all,

I’m debating whether about updating to the latest firmware on my OG N55 M2 as I’ve heard horror stories of people’s ECU’s being locked on the latest firmware, does anyone know if this is specific to the newer models or if the ECU will be locked if I update on my OG as I’ve currently got MHD installed for the cold start delete ( decat m perf )

Has anyone updated and been fine!?

Thanks all!

OG M2 doesn't have lock from my knowledge. At least European one.
If I were you, I would leave it as it is now. There's really no need to update it.
