Pebble Beach Invitation from BMW NA
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com "SAVE THE DATE. BMW is proud to partner again with the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Join us for unique experiences, exclusive events, and a revealing of the all-new BMW 7 Series at the elegant BMW Villa, steps away from the Lodge at Pebble Beach. If you will be in the area or desire additional information about our activities, please click the RSVP button below. Date: August 13-16, 2015 Villa Hours: Thursday - Saturday: 9:30am - 3:30pm Sunday: 8:30am - 3:30pm" If the 7-Series is one reveal and the M4 GTS is another, I'm guessing we will have to wait longer for the M2. Hope I'm incorrect.

The BMW press release said that two concept cars will be shown at Pebble Beach. The new 7 series is not a concept car,it is the 2016 production model that will be available this fall.

Really nothing we can do about it until it is unveiled. We can bitch and moan about it, but that really isn't going to change anything. I'll be on vacation during Pebble Beach, so hopefully I log on and the M2 pics just happen to be there

Since the teasers aren't out, it's not surprising to be honest.
What's the big show in September? I bet it will be there - and the teasers and more info will trickle out during August. Still hopeful for a surprise showing @ Pebble Beach, but not counting on it for sure.

Agreed - part of the reason I went with the 981 - I am sure the M2 will be worth the wait, but I wanted something different/better now. At least you have the M3s, so you've got options until it comes around.

Wish I had enough disposable dough for a clean LRP M3 and a new M2 or M3...then I can let the 328 go and stare at my driveway like an idiot each day, wondering which car to take. Perfect car love triangle right there! |

If I go the F80 route I will have to deal with the exhaust ASAP but on principle it would be total BS as a $70k car should sound great straight from the factory. If I go the E92 route I can save cool $30k over a new M and just keep an eye on the oil analyses due to the occasional rod bearing issues. M2 is still in the cards, based upon the finals specs/weight. Cayman S we be given due consideration as well. |

I also have a feeling the M2 will not be revealed at pebble beach. Long wait indeed!
But my M2 ED is scheduled for June, so that is even more horrific wait.
