BMW M cars (this is the M2 subforum) come out of dealer allocation. Since dealers don't get any bonus money for ED sales, it cuts into their profits. If they can sell an M car at US MSRP and earn the bonus cash on top of that for the sale, why would they sell the car for ED at ED MSRP and lose the bonus cash? If you are willing to pay US MSRP for an ED car, then I think most dealers would be OK with it.
