Do you get to small talk with him or meet any of his techs off camera? Did you get to browse any of the collection?

Thank you. I had no idea what to expect before showing up. They just invited me and gave me a time and location and we showed up.
His garage really is in two sections. He has a warehouse where he restores and maintains his cars. It is huge. Like a factory huge. High ceilings, lifts, and dozens of projects in various states. That shop also had a really nice full kitchen, pool table and hangout area. He even had a huge outdoor style BBQ and a giant hood for it.
The other warehouse houses his collection and really is more of a museum dedicated to his interests than anything else. All of the cars in his collection are spaced out and arranged so they can all drive in and out of the garage. He regularly drives and enjoys all his cars. It was awesome to tour around there and I actually found myself asking more questions about the artwork than the cars. |
