There's 2 buttons on the side of the seat in an M2. Push and hold and the sides inflate/deflate with air making the seat tighter/softer
I know. I made it as tight as possible.

I found it to be more the seat bottom than back. As far as I know, the seat bottom bolsters aren't adjustable on any BMW.
