New M2's typically all sold at MSRP even pre-Covid so buying one again at sticker means you avoid the market issues that we are currently seeing (that is changing slowly). Buying used means you are joining in on it and accept that it will drop over the next year (when G87 comes out) and again the year after (when supplies correct). If you sold your car at a premium then you are just transferring the "profit" so it's an even swap but for me,, I couldn't knowingly over pay. Pre-Covid, you could get an M3 (the beautiful F80 that is currently seeking low miles for $60k+) for 10% off before incentives. We will be there again.
