I'm concerned about is many of the suspension manufacturers recommend rear drop links for the M2 but M performance, KW and Ohlins don't.

I'm assuming the M Performance suggested drop settings negate the need for it.

Any feedback from suspension gurus would be highly appreciated here.
Why would you need the new drop links (other than commercial reasons)?

The existing links are longer that the lever ends of the ARB they bolt to, but are already pretty short. Making them shorter might be counter productive unless the total wheel travel is reduced by a similar ratio.
From what AST and MCS mentioned it is required to setup the rear camber properly.
