Roger wins again. Amazing the owners give him this fat contract after the league already peaked. . Alas, that is how Pro sport compensation works. Your judged on the past not the current or what you're capable of. The league is very inconsistent with it's on field punishment. Look at some of the recent suspensions. It's off the field punishment is even more bizarre. Lately they are now their own judge and jury. Other times, they overlook the fact that running backs sometimes punch their wife out on video that the NFL had before it was made public. . Strange how that works. .
Now if I was an owner having to pay for the head of all the other owners I would question paying this guy top dollar with the current television ratings and contractual deadline coming up. I would like to see both of those resolved before Big money. Two-year deal tops.
