Switched from the Conti's the Michelin PS 4s, nice upgrade

I was disappointed to get Conti's when my car arrived but I tried not to prejudge their performance because the DW Conti's are pretty good overall tires. When I first got my car I immediately sensed a difference in the turn in versus the M2s I drove with MPSS at the 2 day M school. I have had the car since October and have just under 10,000 miles on it. The rears were at 6/32 and I wasn't a fan of their performance at a recent autocross day so I ordered a set of the PS 4S and they finally arrived last week. Today I had them installed and I have driven about 110 miles on them. I immediately noticed improvements in noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). The 4s is still louder than a touring tire on a regular car but they are much quieter than the Conti's. On vibration and harshness they are less dramatic over seams and small pot holes then the Conti's also. The biggest change so far has been on turn in. The turn in is more responsive and precise. I haven't had a chance to explore the full potential but I can say from what I have seen so far they are a worthwhile upgrade from Conti's.

I will be doing some mountain roads and a track day over the coming weeks so I will report my findings after those events. I left a lot of life in the Conti's and was a little worried I was wasting money but I have no such worries now.

Continental makes some great tires but us M2 guys got stuck with a less than great alternative. Happy to have a proper set of tires on my car now. Also they sit on the wheel properly, without that weird bulging sidewall that didn't seem right to me from the onset.
