Yes, they can be described as "Off The Shelf" by the fact that the software
is pre-engineered, tested, and validated for distribution through any of our
Certified HEX Tuning Installers.

That being said, all of our current Stage Level software options see
significant in-house dyno and on-road testing and validation before
release; which comes with far more expertise and experience than
one could argue you'd get from a single custom tuning session.

That is correct as well. Once the ECU has been "unlocked" all flashing
or MAP switching functions are a process you can execute yourself.
When it's time to upgrade form Stage ONE to Stage TWO you can
purchase the file which will then be e-mailed to you.
