Not sure about CP, from videos, you may could light it on fire without issue....Just Kidding.

Most of the coatings on the market say not to wash, but I think that is more for heavy chemicals such as APCs and acids. A mild soap made for coatings should not cause problems, but you could also use a rinseless wash chemical such as ONR to keep from scratching the paint.
