I'm from the midwest, and 4-5 months out of the year we are below freezing with snow...many times we are in the negative F numbers even (which for those outside of US it's -20 C and below). I wash my car 2x per month in the summer, but what can I do in the winter? I definitely will not be able to wash it for 4-5 months because I can't tolerate the cold temperatures with water...and water would just freeze.

Would you just take it to one of those auto washes and damage your paint?
