Apparently a top speed limit is removed as well (this is a new one on me, I think the service advisor made it up...) and he said on a DCT the launch control settings are enabled. I've heard this before but can't confirm as mines a 6MT.
I must say the car seems a bit more "lively" I'm not sure if that's a mental thing though as I was taking it fairly easy before the service. It also sounds a little different too, more pops and bangs. I do wonder if they retune during the service...?

BMW advisors can be pretty full of s*** when it comes to the M2. The "lively" feeling....could be mental.... any chance they swapped cars on you?????
