Hmm. The LT1 and LT4 in the Camaro take 10 quarts according to the owner's manual. I would think the same for the Corvette. Maybe the dry sump system has something to do with it.
Edit: Looks like the non-Z51 takes 7 qt and the Z51 takes 9.8qt.
