I asked the service rep to use syn-blend (same stuff they use in the first five free oil changes) instead of full synthetic. He told me General Motors just recently told them to use only full synthetic on Vette going forward but the oil change price be remained at syn-blend level.
So all told, an oil change that included 7 quarts of synthetic oil, oil filter and labor came to a grand total of $47. I can't find a place to buy just the oil at that price LOL

And yet, Porsche charges something like $350 for an oil change. Cost of ownership plays a crucial role in making a car buying decision.
