Any feedback running R7s on them? Trying to figure out just how much more all-around benefit there would be over an 18 x 10 with 285s.

Thanks!
Hey isjoey,

Thank you for the question and for the kind words regarding the FL-5! We do recommend avoiding running a 285/35 tire on the 18x10" wheel due to the same issues noted above. The 285 does not have the sufficient sidewall support on the 10" width, which results in the sidewall rolling over in high load situations. We would recommend a 275/35 on a 10" width.

The 18x10.5" is perfect in accommodating this 285/35-18 size tire. We do have a few customers utilizing a 295/35-18 without issue. The 295/30 is a bit too short of a tire so we recommend sticking with the 295/35 if you have your heart set on the 295 width.

We unfortunately do not have any customers running the Hoosier R7 on the M2 just yet. Tyspeed Automotive is working on a pretty wicked M2 track build with BFG R1's but I do not believe they have started testing just yet.

I hope this was helpful!
