I screwed up a bit though. When I opened the trunk I realized it didn't get it completely up against the trunk. A narrow gap exists. But you couldn't tell and it's secure. It's just bugging me now but after the nightmare that was removing the residue from the previous glue, I have no appetite to adjust right now lol.

Removing that thing is a bit of a hassle, yes!
If it's not to wide of a gap and it is well secure, don't worry about it.
But anyway, the spoiler does look great, I could hardly be happier with it.
