I agree with most of the above comments. You can still be patriotic and not having everything look SEMA cheese-tastic. I guess if it's a general public contest and you have to submit your design, how else is BMW going to execute it. Not every designer can paint, not every painter can design. To me a true Art Car is an artist physically painting the car, and I guess today there can be a clear coat applied over it to protect it for posterity.
I guess if they don't like it they can always peel it off, LOL. I love the Black rims!
Look we've all seen worse, well almost. Like putting lipstick on a pig, but art is in the eye of the beholder. I guess that's what freedom is, freedom to express yourself no matter how tacky it may be.
And again we must remind ourselves it's a "Art Wrap Car", and I'm sure you would like to see your design chosen as the winner, it was a contest after all. Very Apollo Creed! It's all about showmanship. I'm feeling strong now...
